In 1980, Abu Dhabi was a city of roundabouts, boats, and new beginnings. At that time, only two bridges existed in the Emirate, leaving Islands like Saadiyat, Hudayriyat, and Reem completely unlinked by roads. Because of this, some businesses relied on providing boat transport to ensure their people could cross the water to their workplaces. Experiencing this reality firsthand by taking a boat every day, Mr. Samer Qiblawi, our future President and CEO, embraced the unique energy of the developing city and took a leap of faith to start his journey as an entrepreneur...
